We are looking for an Underwriter Liability, based in Stockholm

The Impact You Will Have 

As a candidate, you'll wield influence by underwriting both new and renewal business to meet company targets. You will help secure favorable participation, pricing, and terms and conditions. With ownership of accounts and clients, you'll help increase profitability and foster enduring relationships. Maintaining connections with brokers and clients will help sustain business growth and ensure client satisfaction. Your impact will be felt across the organization, shaping its success and reputation in the industry.  

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

• Underwrite new and renewal accounts to achieve top and bottom-line targets. 

• Negotiate participation, pricing, and terms with brokers to ensure favorable outcomes. 

• Represent Allianz Commercial positively in external interactions,  

• Take ownership of own portfolio of risks 

• Proactively support acquisition of new business and retention of existing business. 

• Foster collaboration with Market Management, Risk Consultants, Claims, and Multinational Network Operations ns in the underwriting process. 

• Cultivate relationships with brokers, clients, and partners.

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

• Experience in the liability insurance market and, preferably holding a degree in Economics, Law, or related fields. 

•  Proficiency in risk assessment, including an ability to analyze information from various sources.  

• Current performance against industry benchmarks while considering market dynamics, our needs, and customer requirements. 

•  Proficient in contract drafting and interpretation, ensuring policy contract certainty. 

• Understanding of the insurance policy life cycle.   

• Expertise in liability insurance products and ability to underwrite profitable business  

• Established relationships with brokers at a peer group level. 

• Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks governing insurance. 

• Fluent in Swedish and English.
